Sigray, Inc. has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Technician. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a rapidly growing company under the guidance and mentorship of leading experts in the X-ray instrumentation field. The team is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to support our team in building state-of-the-art X-ray microscopes and instruments used by some of the most prominent scientists and institutions in the world.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Knowledge of sub-assemblies
-Basic knowledge of reading schematics
-Cable building experience
-Knowledge of basic electronic components, motors, encoders, limits
-Understanding of basic electronics – voltages, polarity, multimeter
-Soldering experience
Skills:
-Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent analytical skills, both data analysis and critical thinking
-Ability to multitask and set priorities according to current demands
-Experience with hand tools
-Ability to deliver solutions in tight deadlines
Qualifications:
-1-3 years experience as a technician
-Experience working on large complex systems (cars, airplanes, buses, trains, etc.)
-Machine shop experience
Preferred Experience:
-Experience working on large semiconductor equipment (CVD, PVD, etching, etc.) is a plus
-Forklift certification is a plus
