Uni-Fab Industries is looking for top Laser Programmers with extensive Sheetmetal knowledge of part construction, weldments, frames. Uni-Fab is a Laser only shop. We are looking for individuals that want to join a busy and fast-growing company.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Programming Sheet Metal parts for Trumpf CO2 lasers and Amada Fiber Laser w/loader.
Working with Solid Works and Model files
Sheet Nesting of parts for Lasers
Create detail form or weld drawings for shop
Technical Background: (Required Skillset)
Working knowledge of Amada FabriWin/AP100 (You will be tested. This is NOT entry-level.)
Proficient with SolidWorks, and able to create drawings.
Program parts for Amada ENSIS Fiber Laser w/Automation Load/Unload.
Knowledge of creating welding fixturing.
Generate & check flat-pattern layouts
Strong mathematical, organizational, and planning skills.
Knowledgeable with all Sheetmetal processes
Min 5 -10 yrs in the Sheet Metal business
Welding Background is a PLUS
Required:
Knowledgeable of GD&T, ability to read blueprints
A firm understanding of bending calculations and flat pattern layout is essential.
Good technical ability
Team player, Good Communicator, Innovative, and Organized
Educational Background
GED or better
Technical Training a PLUS
