Our HQ is in Fremont, CA. with a secondary location (expansion) opening in Sacramento, CA. by Fall 2024, that will be a state-of-the-art 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility. Job Summary:

The Bid Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Estimating Department in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects. This role involves assisting with the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data required for project bids. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with estimators, project managers, and other team members to ensure all estimating activities are completed on time and in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Analysis: Assist in gathering and organizing data, such as material costs, sub-contractor costs, and other bids, for accurate estimate preparation.

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing, availability, and delivery schedules to include in estimates.

File Management: Manage incoming bid invites and create internal project files. Maintain and organize project files, including architectural drawings, specifications, photos, and all incoming information from the general contractor. Manage and compare incoming sub-contractor quotes.

Administrative Tasks: Handle general administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and responding to inquiries from clients and team members.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in construction management, business, or a related field is preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in construction, estimating, or a related field is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Skills:

o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

o Basic knowledge of estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) is an advantage.

o Basic knowledge of reading and understanding architectural drawings and specs.

o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Working Conditions:

Primarily office-based with occasional visits to project sites.

Full-time, Monday-Friday

Option to work in Fremont, CA. or Sacramento, CA.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Benefits:

-Salary $70,000 to $84,000

-Quarterly Bonus ($5,000 to $15,000, annual avg.)
