Job Opening: Project Administrator / Assistant Project Manager
Location: In-Person Only
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are a high-end electrical contractor seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Project Administrator / Assistant Project Manager to support our team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist project managers with day-to-day tasks and project coordination
Prepare, review, and organize project documents, reports, and schedules
Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
Maintain accurate records and project files
Support office operations and provide administrative assistance as needed
Example Tasks: These are a few sample responsibilities; additional duties will be added or adjusted as needed. Tasks may include plan take-offs, preparing change orders, creating as-builts, updating panel schedules, maintaining insurance certificates, pulling permits, ordering office supplies and more.
Requirements
Experience in a construction environment preferred
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site full time
Willing to assist with office tasks outside typical project management duties to support smooth operations
Able to ask for assistance when needed and stay productive by taking initiative with company tasks and projects
