Full time Receptionist/Office Assistant needed for private firm of two attorneys specializing in estate planning, business and tax matters. Office located in downtown Santa Cruz.
We are looking for a reliable, motivated person who is friendly, hardworking and pays close attention to detail. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills and be able to prioritize work load.
Experience preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Full time position; 40 hours per week during the business hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Salary commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answer multi-phone line
Greet clients
Schedule appointments
Draft correspondence and other documents
Create and maintain client and administrative files
Compilation of client documents
Bookkeeping
Handle shipping and receiving of packages and documents
Order and organize office supplies
Recycling
Process and distribute mail
Banking and other office errands
Scanning and filing
Assist attorneys as needed
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Self-starter with excellent organization and communication skills
Proficiency using email, Microsoft Word, Quickbooks and Excel
Excellent reading, writing, comprehension, and proofreading skills
