Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our team, we manage 160+ units across several buildings. In this role, you will support the property management operations, ensuring that our properties are well-maintained and that residents receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate administration, knowledge of Fair Housing regulations, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
Schedule property tours with prospective renters
Assist the Property Manager in daily operations and management of the property.
Handle tenant inquiries and provide outstanding customer service to enhance resident satisfaction.
Manage tenant relations, including lease renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
Support sales efforts by promoting available units and conducting property tours for prospective tenants.
Organize and maintain files related to contracts, tenant information, and property documents.
Ensure the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained by coordinating maintenance requests with vendors.
Requirements
Previous experience in real estate administration or property management is preferred.
Must be able to work Saturdays. Sunday and another weekday are days off
Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Proficiency in customer relationship management systems.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing files and documentation.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
High level of professionalism and integrity in dealing with tenants and vendors.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
