Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, motivated, and detail-oriented On-Site Maintenance Manager to support with managing a portfolio of 40 units located in Menlo Park. This part-time role offers a discount on the fair market rent for a 2-bedroom apartment at one of our properties located in Menlo Park. This is a great opportunity for someone with a primary job looking for supplemental income.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $25/hour
Additional Benefit: Approximately $900 off on the fair market rent for a 2-bedroom apartment
Work Hours: Available on demand recurring/pre scheduled approximately 5 per week plus maintenance calls
Responsibilities
As the On-Site Maintenance Manager, you will support the Director of Property Services in the day-to-day operations of the property. Responsibilities include:
Enforcing tenant rules and regulations
Maintaining positive tenant relations
Addressing maintenance work orders and completing necessary repairs
Performing light cleaning of common areas, such as courtyards, walkways, and laundry rooms
Managing waste disposal by bringing dumpsters in and out as needed
Assisting tenants who are locked out of their units
Reporting tenant and property issues to the Director of Property Services
Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
Basic computer knowledge and the ability to use email
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficiency in diagnosing and solving maintenance issues such as snaking drains, changing locks, handy-man type work
Prior property management experience is desirable
Competency using smart phone
