Job Description

lesley evers boutique co. is seeking a boutique manager to oversee the daily operations of the boutique and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be self starter and is able to run day to day operations of the store and manage 1 to 2 part time employees.

Founded in 2013, lesley evers boutique co. makes fun & colorful apparel with original textile designs. We’re a small and rapidly growing business that currently operates one store in the Rockridge neighborhood in Oakland California and one store in Portland Oregon.

In 2022, lesleyevers.com customers rated us 4.8/5.0 stars from thousands of responses from around the country. You will be helping us open our third store. We are excited to have a new store in Palo Alto at the Town and Country Village!

Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations of the boutique, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and are taken care of each day.

Oversee inventory, scheduling, and scheduling of staff to ensure that we maintain a high level of service and productivity.

Ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and are held accountable for their performance.

Work with our core team to generate awareness around the greater South Bay area.

Create a fun, supportive environment for our staff while maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

Help our clients feel at home while in the boutique and provide an excellent experience each day.

Be knowledgeable about the boutique’s merchandise and services.

Be knowledgeable about products sold in the boutique as well as in other stores in the area.

Be knowledgeable about local events and events in the Palo Alto area.

Be able to respond to client inquiries via phone or email.

Be able to manage inventory levels for both sales and backstock based on sales numbers reported by staff members or sales reports completed by the store manager or owner.

Be able to manage inventory control procedures for both retail sales and backstock based on experience working at a small business retail store such as lesley evers boutique co

Other duties as assigned by owner or manager.

Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in apparel or boutique retail management or supervisory role preferred but not required.

Strong understanding of customer service techniques and standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
