Job Description:

The Building Company is looking for an experienced and dependable Carpenter to become a part of our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of carpentry tasks, including framing, finish carpentry, and the installation of doors, trim, crown molding, baseboards, siding, and cabinetry. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring all work adheres to the highest safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Be able to work full time

Have a valid drivers license

Have your own truck and basic tools

Have advanced carpentry experience

Be able to work independently and collaborate with our team

Responsibilities:

Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials.

Install doors, windows, cabinets, and other fixtures.

Install finishes such as trim, baseboards, siding, and decking.

Read and understand blueprints.

Communicate by phone, email, and texting.

Operate hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, sanders, etc.)

Adhere to safety protocols, building codes, and regulations.

Collaborate with subcontractors.
