We are currently looking to hire an experienced Journeyman Finish Carpenter to join our team of builders and craftsman. This is a full-time year-round nonexempt position. Applicant must be a team player able to follow directions from a supervisor as well as problem solve independently. The ideal candidate understands detailed drawings and can execute complex installations from start to finish including cabinetry, doors, windows, casework, trim, built-in furniture, etc. All products and materials we install are of the highest quality, and our completed projects adhere to the highest quality standards.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Cabinetry, door, and millwork installation.
Paneling and siding installation.
Flashing, waterproofing, and architectural caulking.
Efficiently and accurately perform layout, assembly, and installation of cabinetry, casework & contemporary interior trim details.
Coordinate work with project teams. Maintain direct communication and coordination with Finish Crew Foreman and Project Superintendent.
Adhere to local building safety codes and guidelines.
Demonstrate safe and skillful use of specialized power tools and equipment.
Attend weekly safety meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
8-10 years' experience as a finish carpenter with 5 of those years as a journeyman (preferred).
Ability to read and comprehend plans, shop drawings, sub-trade specs, and apply information to required tasks.
Must be extremely detail oriented.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksites during scheduled workdays.
Must have a Finish Carpenter’s basic tool set. Major tools are provided.
