Kaiser Gardens Inc. is a boutique residential landscape design/build/maintenance company serving Marin County for over 28 years. We specialize in installing and maintaining artistic, sustainable, and detailed gardens.

About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Landscape Detailer & Maintenance Account Manager with over 15 years of garden care expertise who would like to grow with our business. This is a hands-on, part-time role for someone who thoroughly enjoys caring for gardens, is skilled with attention to detail, plant care, and client relationship management, and enjoys working independently. The initial workload is 10 hours. As clients are onboarded and based on experience and interest, more clients will be added to the detailer/manager’s schedule.

Detail high-end gardens with expert pruning, pest control, and plant care

Interface with clients and ensure satisfaction

Support the Maintenance team by reviewing current maintenance client gardens and advising them on tasks and responsibilities.

Create and prioritize task lists to aid the maintenance crew

Ensure quality, professionalism, and customer care

If qualified, support the owner with occasional design and installation projects

Required Skills & Experience:

15+ years in professional landscape maintenance detailing, general garden care,

and crew management

Strong irrigation troubleshooting and water-wise practices; must be able to change valves and program numerous types of irrigation controllers

Must implement organic & traditional integrated pest control (IPM) practices

Lawn care, fertilizing, pruning, composting, and drainage

In-depth plant ID and horticultural knowledge, i.e., know Latin and common plant names

Confident, friendly communicator & team leader

A sharp eye for detail

Comfortable managing others with a firm but kind approach

Must Have:

Reliable personal work truck (mileage reimbursed)

Valid driver’s license & clean driving record

Legal paperwork for working in the U.S.

Spanish speaker a plus

Flexible schedule & open to project work
