We are an award winning, established licensed contractor for 33 years in Santa Cruz. We are licensed/bonded/insured, with a great reputation. We are a great company, and we love our workers. We do gorgeous ecological landscapes.
One of our best workers had a family issue in Mexico and will be gone for at least a month, maybe longer. We need to fill this position with a great worker fast because we are booked up with clients for the summer! We needed to hire someone anyway! We hope he comes back, but we need another person on crew as well.

POSITION
Full Time/Long Term Employment!
This person will be #2 to the landscape foreman. This person will coordinate with the foreman on jobs in the morning and throughout the day. They will help wrap up jobs or start new jobs as we roll forward. They will give guidance and direction to some crew members.
Must have leadership ability and good common sense - we can't always tell you what to do. But, you need to get along with everyone on the crew, so we have a friendly, fun, positive atmosphere. You must work well independently, and with the crew.
Need a great work ethic! We need a star.
This person will drive truck and trailer to pick up materials and go to the dump. They must be strong for loading and unloading, demo, digging, and moving materials (gravel, soil, mulch) to yard areas.
In addition, you will help building patios, paths, rock walls, dry creekbeds, arbors, decks, fences, raised beds, putting in drip irrigation systems, etc. This crew also does landscape cleanups.
We don't do concrete work (except for posts). We don't use any bad chemicals ever. No blowers. All jobs in Santa Cruz County. Mostly residential. Nice houses, nice gardens, nice people.
Compensation:
$25-35/hour
