Admin Assistant for Tax & Acctg Office

Accounting and Tax Firm seeks a professional administrative assistant who enjoys helping and interacting with people, has strong social skills and is technically competent. Position offers a lot of variety in a fast paced environment.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Excellent customer service skills, an articulate communicator, a good listener and able to plan and prioritize workload with competing priorities. Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe, Quickbooks and able to quickly learn new programs. Experience working in a paperless office. Familiarity with income tax laws and accounting terminology a plus.

DUTIES:

Daily Operations: Administrative support for front office including: customer service, answering phones, responding to emails and texts, handling incoming requests and general bookkeeping. Handling confidential and sensitive financial information. Supports accounting, tax and payroll staff by collecting information from clients. Supports accounting and tax staff by preparing documents for processing and packaging completed projects for return to clients.
