The Trailer Specialist is a trailer dealership in Acampo, CA. We sell horse and livestock trailers, equipment, dump, car and enclosed cargo trailers, along with providing a full-service center and parts department. We are located in Acampo on Highway 99 (between Lodi and Galt).
This is a full-time position, for someone with a good working knowledge of hand and power tools.
Job description, while not all-inclusive, will include the following:
Trailer assembly including mounting tires & wheels, installing jacks and gates, testing lights and brakes.
Washing and detailing trailers to prep for lot.
Prep sold units for customer pickup including tightening lug nuts, check lights and brakes.
Move trailers and unstack trailers with forklift.
Provide customer service including hitching up a customer, advising customer of proper procedures and safety equipment including brake controls and correct size ball/ball mount.
General maintenance and clean-up.
Qualifications for the position include:
Working knowledge and experience using hand and power tools
Able to lift up to 100 lbs
Able to work in inclement weather, whether hot, cold or rainy
Bonus qualifications would be: working knowledge of trailers, good customer service skills and forklift experience
Must be available for work some Saturdays.
Hourly wage starting at $20/hour will depend on experience. Benefits available including paid vacations, paid holidays, health insurance; dental insurance, 401K.
