DescriptionAmazon is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, self-motivated Executive Assistant to support the VP Operations. This role requires attention to detail, understanding business priorities, organizational skills, meeting tight deadlines, juggling multiple critical requests across internal and external stakeholders, and proactively anticipating needs and driving improvements across the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-focused environment while maintaining flexibility, and composure.Candidate must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. The ideal candidate must be able to coordinate the efforts of a team of Executive Assistants and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.Key job responsibilities
Management of complex frequently changing VP calendar and collaboration with team EA's for direct reports availability. Must be able to schedule across multiple calendars
Some scheduling across multiple locations to support teams
Manage ad hoc domestic and international travel
Be a trusted advisor and thought partner for VP as well as proactively suggest recommendations on process improvement as needed
Manage expense reports
Collaborate with team EA's for ad hoc morale and team building activities. Organize, execute, and assist EA's with catering for meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
Act as a liaison for direct reports
Coordinate a team of executive assistants, providing guidance, training, and support as needed. Meet weekly with EA team in coordination meetings
Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
Document writing, editing, and readiness
Maintain and organize confidential information and files
Develop and implement efficient administrative systems and processes
Travel 30% domestic and international

6+ years of executive assistant experience
Experience with C-level executive calendar management
Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
High school or equivalent diploma
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience with domestic and international travel coordination
Intermediate knowledge of Mac products and applications
High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, team-oriented philosophy, and problem solving skills
Grace under pressure, and the ability to switch gears at a moment’s notice

The base pay for this position ranges from $79,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market.
