If these types of projects excite you, we’d love for you to join our team and help us detect, protect, and connect.ResponsibilitiesWe are currently seeking a Accounts Payable Associate at our Torrance, CA location, to be a responsible for overseeing the daily operations of accounts payable department. This includes providing guidance to staff, managing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.
Ensure that financial deadlines are met and that customer service is provided to all stakeholders
Reconcile payable accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved
Analyze daily cash position and requirements
Coordinate work with procurement to resolve problems with orders, invoices, and payments
Coordinate and schedule annual 1099 reporting
Respond to AP audit requests
Provide AP reports to management
Review division of tasks within the team and adjust workloads accordingly
Ensure that AP team cross-trains and provides backup for each responsibility
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field required
5 years of experience in accounts payable
Experience with LN INFOR system
Strong MS Excel skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work successfully on cross-functional teams
