Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry, located in Torrance, California. The role is for an HR Generalist who will contribute to our team by providing support in various human resources functions.Responsibilities: Oversee the application of 'ADP - Financial Services' and 'ADP Workforce Now' for processing and maintaining employee records. Manage the 'ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode' to ensure seamless communication and data transfer within the organization. Utilize 'Ceridian' and 'Dayforce' software for efficient employee management and benefits administration. Implement 'Benefit Functions' to manage and administer employee benefits and compensation. Demonstrate strong 'Communication' skills to effectively interact with all levels of employees and management. Ensure 'Compliance' with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Foster 'Employee Relations' by addressing employee issues and concerns in a timely manner. Oversee 'FMLA' administration to manage employee leaves and absences according to federal law.Requirements Must possess knowledge of ADP - Financial Services. Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now required. Understanding of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is crucial. Experience with Ceridian software is necessary. Familiarity with Dayforce software is preferred. Must be able to handle Benefit Functions effectively. Strong Communication skills are essential. Should have a thorough understanding of Compliance regulations within the healthcare industry. Experience in Employee Relations is a must. Knowledge of FMLA regulations is required. Prior experience in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry is desirable. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field is required. PHR or SPHR certification would be advantageous. Proven experience as an HR Generalist is needed. Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures is essential. Good knowledge of employment/labor laws is crucial. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office is preferred. Excellent communication and people skills are needed. Aptitude in problem-solving is required. Must have a desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
