Leading Ventura County Property Management Firm is looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative. Under the direction of the Controller, the AP Representative will maintain and/or assist in all accounts payable records other financial transactions as assigned and will assist in the general ledger functions of the company.
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
$25.00-$28.00/hour + Benefits
Responsibilities:
Company coding receivables for payment entry.
Maintain/assist with AP vendor and AR client files.
Work in conjunction with other departments as directed/requested.
Run bi-monthly AR aging reports and analyze for Controller.
Enter daily deposits in AR system and discuss receipt concerns with Controller.
Resolve all pmt discrepancies/disputes, and process daily bank deposits for courier.
Contact clients to collect payments and discuss potential issues.
Run weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting reports as required/requested.
Other related job duties may be assigned that are not listed.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
3+ years of experience with accounts receivable and general accounting
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Proficient in MS Excel
Accurate data entry skills
