Accountemps is looking for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) professional to join the team at an expanding company in Agoura Hills. This company will offer you great potential for career growth and an impressive benefits package. This temporary to permanent role is available in the Agoura Hills area.
Processes credit/re-bill invoices from sites when necessary
Processes customer credit cards and auto pay batches; reconcile batch totals with support
Resolves customer inquiries with professionalism in a timely and accurate manner
Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, review and verify accuracy.
Performs essential duties for the timely close of sub-ledgers and general ledger in support of the month end close.
Utilizes knowledge of internal controls to implement changes in accordance with GAAP -Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications
1-3 years of accounts receivable and/or accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent -Strong analytical skills
Strong time management skills.
General understanding of US GAAP and Accounting Concepts
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field
Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and proficient with ERP systems
