Current position open for a Prevailing Wage Specialist/Payroll Processor. We are a local Union Low-voltage Contractor in need of someone interested in flexible on-site hours. We are located in Camarillo. Necessary skills: QuickBooks desktop proficient, Excel proficient and preferably have the below listed capabilities
Job Description:
Run weekly payroll in Miter & post into QuickBooks. Miter is a payroll program/service that specializes in Union/Prevailing Wage & Compliance payroll and reporting.
Process weekly 401k Contributions, post payments into QuickBooks
Process Prevailing Wage paperwork, maintain files
Pay Insurances (Unum Dental/Disability, Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser)
Post Miter payments in QuickBooks
Enter jobs into Miter/QuickBooks
Union reports and payments
CBIZ reports and payments, CBIZ is a third-party compliance service that tracks and holds the funds for the hour bank/fringe benefit program for hybrid union employees.
Assist with benefit questions
Hours and wages are flexible and to be determined based on experience. This is an in-person position.
