Growing woman-owned small business, dedicated to providing quality bookkeeping and business management services is looking for a part time Payroll/Bookkeeping Specialist. We work with a variety of organizations in a very fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
Candidate must be highly detail-oriented with thorough hands-on accounting and bookkeeping experience. Must have experience working with multiple clients, meeting deadlines on time, and maintaining a sense of urgency to deliver reliable financial data on a monthly basis. Must be comfortable with maintaining your own schedule, working closely with clients and accountants and providing up to date information to management. Experience with Sage 100 Contractor, QuickBooks desktop, QuickBooks Online, the Google Suite and Dropbox are required.
This position is fully remote but candidate must reside in California
Part time 20 hours of work per week (potential for more hours once training is completed)
$25.00-$32.00/hour
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience providing bookkeeping support such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, closing books on a monthly basis and preparing financial reports
1+ year of transactional experience using QuickBooks
1+ year of transactional experience using Sage 100 Contractor software
Familiarity with trust accounting, job costing and construction accounting, including payroll taxes, prevailing wage, Certified Payroll, invoicing, collections, WIP reporting, accruals and retentions, and progress billing
Dedicated quiet and private office space that has a reliable, high-speed internet connection
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
