Job Description: We are a busy bookkeeping office in need of a Project-Based Accountant to assist with various accounting projects. As a Project-Based Accountant, you will work closely with our team to provide accounting support, with a focus on QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and QuickBooks Online (QBO) and general ledger accounting.
Responsibilities:
Manage client accounts in QBDT and QBO
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Prepare and review financial statements
Record and categorize transactions
Assist with month-end close and reporting
Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping
Provide general ledger accounting support
Work on special projects as needed
Requirements:
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Experience with general ledger accounting
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
