Open position for a food prep / cook at Besant Hill School, Ojai California
Job description:
We are looking for an energetic food prep / cook to assist our kitchen staff by preparing food ingredients, preparing meals, distributing food, keeping a clean kitchen and work environment and follow all the health and safety guidelines.
Work requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or suitable alternative.
2+ years of kitchen production experience.
Excellent understanding of food preparation fundamentals.
Ability to follow recipes.
Sound understanding of food allergies.
Keeping utensils and equipment clean and sanitary.
Willing to do dishes, remove trash, clean.
Basic mathematical skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Available to work shifts, on public holiday's, and over weekends.
Proof of COVID vaccination required.
