Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Service Operations Coordinator to join our Service Department. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations between our customers, technicians, and internal team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats to keep our department running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule service appointments, acting as the main point of contact between customers and technicians.
Communicate daily with technicians to provide schedules, updates, and job details.
Manage service department inventory, including stocking technician trucks, monitoring the stock room, and requesting parts as needed.
Review daily service reports and verify programming to ensure completed jobs meet company standards.
Support billing processes by assisting with invoice preparation for completed service tickets.
Collaborate with the Service Supervisor to anticipate and address department needs.
Monitor workflows and troubleshoot issues to maintain operational efficiency.
Assist in special projects or administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both with customers and internal staff.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience with scheduling, inventory management, or service operations preferred.
