Description A successful Energy/Natural Resources organization that will recognize your efforts is working with Robert Half to find a talented Accounting Manager. This Accounting Manager role is based in the Walnut Creek, California area and is a permanent employment opportunity that is not to be missed!Responsibilities: · Prepare entries at general ledger level, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy as well as meeting timelines for financial reporting· Perform or review of reconciliation of all sub-ledger reconcile to general ledger at the closing, to assess reasonableness of the balances at the period end and the compliance of US GAAP· Execution of monthly/quarterly/yearly closing procedures including the final Oracle HFM uploading, ensure completion of accounting closing activities and tasks, to meet internal and external deadlines.· Support to treasury management as a back up for execution of fund releasing· Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements including cash flow statements and financial package to the lender in compliance of credit facility agreement· Support tax team in reviewing Transfer Pricing AJE following the benchmark of transfer price study· Analyze duty (such as AD/CVD/C201 issues) from accounting point, prepare monthly accrual/reconciliation, historical AD/CVD true up, reconciliation between accrual and payments, CBP Reports· Work closely with HQ Reporting on any inquires and HFM top side entries and reconciliation of local TBs with HFM TBs per US GAAP· Lead the teams to complete monthly/quarterly MR IPO reports to meet required deadlines· Support on SOX compliance audit, prepare and update the narratives documentation, improve the accounting procedures and policies· Make recommendations to business stakeholders, keen to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization, continue enhance the efficiency of workflows of responsible functions· Research and propose the accounting treatments, set up new accounting books to meet the business needsRequirements Education/Training:· Bachelor’s Degree or above in Finance or Accounting, CPA preferred.· Minimum of 5+ years of related experience.· Familiarity with US GAAP and experience in working with public companies· Computer literacy, excellent abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
