Description We are in search of an Employee Relations Specialist to join our remote team. This role is a chance to be part of an industry that focuses on behavioral health. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will be managing and resolving employee complaints, supporting termination processes, and handling sensitive and confidential information. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle and document employee complaints in an appropriate manner Provide support during termination processes Assist in the creation and implementation of improvement plans Manage and manipulate Excel spreadsheets containing employee data Coach and counsel employees when needed Follow up on employee concerns promptly and effectively Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Enter data into HRIS databases, specifically Workday Ensure policies and procedures are interpreted accurately, consistently administered, and aligned with organizational goals, while also in compliance with professional standards, state, and federal regulations Support change management initiatives and facilitate conversations that encourage transformation while minimizing negative reactions and potential impacts Communicate effectively with all levels of management, verbally and in written form Serve as the first point of contact for the "people & performance" team.If you have experience with employee relations, submit your resume today! Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Communication, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and instructions Extensive knowledge of Compliance and regulatory standards relevant to the role of Employee Relations Specialist Prior experience in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution and fostering a positive working environment Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application within a business context Experience using HRIS Database systems to track and manage employee data Proficiency in Workday, including its features and functionalities related to HR management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the creation and interpretation of Charts and Graphs Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy Familiarity with labor laws and other relevant legal regulations Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and develop effective solutions The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
