We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Accounts Payable Specialist with a background in managing high volume invoicing.Job Description: The primary role of the Accounts Payable Specialist will involve overseeing all activities related to accounts payable, as well as utilizing your payroll experience to assist with payroll responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices and check requests, set invoices up for payment and track expenses.
Manage vendor files and create and maintain corresponding electronic records.
Assist in processing semi-monthly payroll.
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
Manage high volume invoicing in a timely and efficient manner.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and other payment issues.
Prepare and submit financial reports relating to accounts payable and receivables.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
Minimum 2+ years of payroll experience.
Experience handling high volume invoicing is a must.
Strong ability to work with accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle confidential material with discretion.
