Position: Restaurant Manager

Location: Mt Fuji Sushi & Hibachi, 6851 S Gaylord St #262, Centennial, CO 80122

Salary: $80,000 (annually)

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service during high-energy hibachi shows and sushi dining.

- Lead, train, and motivate a team of hibachi chefs, servers, and bartenders to deliver outstanding guest experiences, including warm greetings, accurate order handling, and prompt service.

- Drive sales through strategic upselling techniques, promoting specials, and ensuring menu knowledge across the team.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, enforcing health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (e.g., food handling practices and responsible alcohol service).

- Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally to uphold our reputation for exceptional hospitality.

- Inventory control, and accurate cash/credit transaction oversight.

- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients for sushi and hibachi dishes.

- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the warmth and energy of dining traditions.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in restaurant management, preferably in Asian, hibachi, or fine dining settings (no minimum years required).

- Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests, resolve complaints, and maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

- Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments, managing teams handling food and beverage orders under pressure.

- Strong sales acumen, with experience training staff on upselling techniques and promoting specials to enhance revenue.

- Knowledge of food handling practices, hospitality standards, and responsible alcohol service (ServSafe certification a plus).

- Proficiency in POS systems, scheduling software, and basic financial management (e.g., accurate cash handling and budgeting).

- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to support peak dining times.
