American Samaritan, a fast-growing non-profit organization, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator. We are entering our third year of operation, and with our continued success and expansion, we are poised to make this our best year yet!
As Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the face of our charitable outreach efforts. Your responsibilities will include matching clients from underserved communities with our charitable initiatives and coordinating the logistics of their delivery services. You will also have the opportunity to develop new partnerships with community assistance organizations and nurture our existing relationships, ensuring our mission continues to make a lasting impact.
We are looking for a hardworking, service-oriented individual who shares our patriotic values and commitment to giving back. Our team is close-knit, with many of us being family, friends, and even veterans who are proud of our country and the opportunities it offers. We believe in working hard, enjoying what we do, and having fun while doing it.
Key Qualifications:
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Passion for serving others and working in the non-profit sector
Prior experience in non-profit work is preferred but not required
Basic knowledge of office software, social media platforms, and modern business technologies
Good customer service and communication skills
Must be at least 16 years old with a valid state ID
Primary Responsibilities:
Answering phones and coordinating donor pick-up services
Responding to email inquiries
Handling retail sales, including processing payments and providing customer service

This is a full-time position with starting pay at $17.76 per hour, along with regular performance reviews. Weekend availability is required.
