POSITION OVERVIEW
We’re hiring a skilled Irrigation Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize irrigation systems for commercial properties. Your work will directly support Denver’s water conservation goals while keeping landscapes lush and cost-efficient and report to our irrigation manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial irrigation systems (rotors, drip lines, smart controllers, 2-wire).
Perform seasonal audits and winterization to prevent freeze damage.
Program and adjust smart irrigation systems for optimal water efficiency (e.g., WeatherTRAK, Rain Bird).
Collaborate with the enhancements team on projects artificial turf and other capital projects.
Adhere to Denver’s water restrictions and xeriscaping best practices.
Use field service management software to document system layouts and updates.
Provide clients with clear explanations of repairs and water-saving strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of irrigation experience, preferably in commercial settings.
Proficiency with backflow prevention, valve repair, and pipe fitting.
Knowledge of water-efficient technologies (e.g., ET controllers, soil moisture sensors).
Certifications such as CLIA, IA, or WaterSense are a plus.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
