Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director

Description We are looking for a diligent Payroll Supervisor/Manager/Director to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry based in HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and managing a team of payroll staff. Responsibilities: Oversee the establishment and implementation of policies related to payroll advancements and garnishments Ensure compliance with current government regulations related to payroll processing Prepare and submit government reports as required Supervise the reconciliation of sub-ledger to the general ledger Oversee the hiring, training, and development of payroll staff Manage the preparation of accruals related to payroll Utilize Microsoft Excel and Office Suites to perform accounting functions and maintain records Collaborate with C-Suite executives to discuss and strategize on payroll-related matters Implement and manage an automated payroll system to improve efficiency Handle any payroll-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and accurate responses. Requirements Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites Experience in managing Accounting Functions Familiarity with C-Suite operations and communication Skills in Automated Payroll systems Proven experience as a Payroll Supervisor, Manager, or Director in the Real Estate & Property industry Excellent leadership and team management abilities Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Knowledge of payroll tax laws and best practices Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Relevant certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) would be advantageous.
