IT Engineer

Description:The role of an IT Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and support of our IT systems and infrastructure. They will work with a global tier 2 &3 IT engineering team and triage escalations from global NOC, and support Oracle Linux, Azure, Microsoft Windows, Dell Hardware, VPN, and desktop security. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our technology environment by ensuring triage of Oracle Linux servers keeping them patched and updated for continued business operations. The IT Engineer position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of our organization.  EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED Minimum of 5 years in IT operations and support. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and infrastructure components. Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, Azure), virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms. Experience with IT security principles and practices, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation and task orchestration. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications: Design, deploy, and maintain IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and peripherals. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Implement and enforce security measures to protect data, systems, and networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats. Install and configure software applications and updates, ensuring compatibility and compliance with organizational requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT solutions that meet business needs and objectives. Provide technical support and training to end-users, assisting them with IT-related issues and inquiries. Maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance IT capabilities. What You Will Do: Interface directly with healthcare professionals, staff, and sales representatives to perform surgical planning via phone, emails and web meetings. Use CAD software to manipulate 3D files and combine multiple datasets for surgical planning. Manage multiple priorities and communicate closely with a multidisciplinary team. Maintain detailed records of each case in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System. View patient CT and MRI studies in DICOM format and identify anatomies of interest. Perform inspection of 3D printed surgical guides for quality and clinical effectiveness. Use hand tools to buff, clean, or modify the surgical guides as needed.
