Advanced Practitioner Role Scope Nurse Practitioners (APRN) / Physician Assistants provide direct lactation support and education to patients and staff to ensure that a high quality, cost effective service is delivered. Advanced Practitioners are responsible for providing comprehensive, advanced, and specialized health services across the continuum of the patient’s lactation experience. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with the Labor and Delivery, Maternity, and Women\'s health and ambulatory health services. The Medical Assistant experiences continued training of all aspects of the Medical Assistant role. Required Education Diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic or Medic Certification OR relative experience as outlined below. Experience In lieu of education requirement, at least one year of experience in direct patient care (acute or ambulatory space) may be considered. Licensure, Certification, Registration Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Job Summary Our registered clinical nurse leader’s work in collaborative environments with strong interdisciplinary teams, focused on a patient centered care model in a richly diverse work space.
