Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Healthcare industry, located in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, 20002-1810, United States. As an Administrative Assistant, your main role will be to handle administrative tasks such as organizing documents, setting up conference rooms, and responding to internal and external communications. Responsibilities: Organizing and filing documents to ensure efficient and accessible information. Managing the setup and cleanup of conference rooms, as well as scheduling their use when required. Handling inbound telephone calls and directing them appropriately. Efficiently responding to internal and external emails, ensuring all communications are addressed in a timely manner. Utilizing MS Excel and other Microsoft tools to create and manage spreadsheets for data tracking. Liaising with vendors and scheduling their visits to the office as necessary. Compiling documents using Adobe Acrobat and DocuSign. Utilizing ADP Workforce Now for various administrative tasks. Booking and arranging conference calls when required. Requirements Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft software Experience in handling direct and inbound telephone calls professionally Strong filing and document management skills Experience in booking and arranging conference calls Ability to set up and clean up conference rooms Excellent email correspondence skills Experience in compiling and organizing documents Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now and DocuSign Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and team player High attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of NHS systems and procedures would be advantageous Respect for confidentiality and patient privacy rules Ability to work independently and as part of a team Evidence of ongoing self-development and willingness to learn. Responsibilities The major duties of the Personnel Security Assistant position include but are not limited to: Interpretation and application of security and suitability guidelines, policies, and procedures. Initiating, processing, and adjudication of employee background investigations.
