JOB SUMMARYProvides data governance implementation and technical configuration services, focusing on metadata management, data quality, and business glossary maintenance through Ataccama. Partner with business and technical stakeholders to implement governance frameworks, develop metrics, and drive data quality improvement initiatives.SALARY : The salary range for this position is $31.73/hour ($65,998/year) for those with entry-level qualifications up to $54.90/hour (114,192/year) for those highly experienced. The specific rate will depend on upon the successful candidate's specific qualifications and prior experience.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Configure and maintain Ataccama platform including workflows, business glossary, and data quality rules, metadata model configurations, plan development and more

Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and governance workflows.

Develop and maintain data governance dashboards and metrics to monitor program effectiveness, data quality scores, and metadata completeness. Create visualizations that effectively communicate governance status to executive stakeholders.

Implement and monitor data quality rules, validation checks, and control frameworks. Examine and validate data quality metrics to ensure reliability and integrity of governed data assets.

Document technical configurations, metadata standards, and governance workflows including data classifications, business terms, stewardship assignments, and escalation paths

Partner with business and technical stewards to implement governance best practices

Analyze governance metrics and data quality trends to evaluate program effectiveness and drive improvements. Make recommendations for process optimization and control enhancement.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, Clinical or other similar degree or equivalent experience required.

Master's degree preferred.

Strong proficiency in Ataccama's ONE platform modules including Catalog, DQ and Monitoring, and ONE Desktop, or a similar tool

Experience in data profiling techniques.

Excellence in data governance concepts including metadata management, data quality, business glossary maintenance, and data classification.

Strong SQL skills and experience with data analysis and validation techniques.

Experience developing governance dashboards and metrics using BI tools.

Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., snowflake)

Deep understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data architecture principles

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to translate business requirements into technical governance solutions

Experience implementing governance workflows and controls in regulated environments

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both business and technical teams.

Experience interpreting unique and complex data sets to discover trends and patterns guiding decision making.
