Bachelor's degree required

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Active TS/SCIsecurity clearance required

Ability to travel 25% or more based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Ability to be on-site 90%

Preferred:

Familiarity and experience with the Intelligence Community

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with team members.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington D.C., Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Washington D.C. and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,000 to $143,000.

  • Summary This is a TEMPORARY, INTERMITTENT position is in the Office of Analytic Outreach, Bureau of Intelligence and Research (INR/AO). The incumbent serves as a Grants Management Specialist responsible for the entire Title VIII Program by providing strategic direction, grants management and administration, and by managing, administering, monitoring, and evaluating all Program components. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicants must meet all the required qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. NOTE: Applicants must meet time-in-grade and time after competitive appointment requirements, by the closing date of this announcement. Time-In-Grade Requirements: Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions, per 5CFR 300, Subpart F. Applicants applying for the GS-13 must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience administering, implementing and overseeing grants in support of long-term foreign policy objectives. Experience serving as liaison with external customers, applicants, and grantees to clarify, interpret, and resolve issues. Experience tracking, reviewing and analyzing accounting surveys and budget estimates to ensure the selection of grantees with maximum potential for success. Experience monitoring the review and evaluation of grantees for compliance with policies and regulations; and advises independent review panels by interpreting policy.
