Gathering, developing, and documenting requirements

Lead the review, assessment, and development of business processes

Create and validate user acceptance testing

Research and provide support to users

Work under limited to minimal direction, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment

Responsible for analysis and documentation in the implementation of multiple inter-related projects

Ensure that deliverables and materials are produced and maintained in accordance with established processes and procedures, are of consistent quality, and use accepted business analysis methodologies

Assign and/or supervise the work of others

Work under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment

What You'll NeedRequired:

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with business analysis on software development projects including: the preparation of project related documentation

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written/verbal/ presentation communication skills in English (specifically technical writing); and well versed with MS Office suite of products and prototyping/screen mock-up tools such as Visio, SnagIt

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with hands-on requirements elicitation; client management and technical documentation including traceability, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience facilitating interactive sessions with business and cross functional teams

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with strong analysis assessing Production Support issues to determine Root Cause and document items needed for data or system correction

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience developing/maintaining an understanding of key business drivers/impacts, assisting clients with identifying and solving business

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience facilitating analysis of business and functional requirements and design of technology specifications, working with business / functional personnel

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience defining functional design and systems specifications; preparing/reviewing/delivering completed packages

Eight (8) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience collaborating participating in and providing guidance to Business and Functional Units in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities

Desired:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline or equivalent work experience

One (1) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with mainframe environments; SQL; Salesforce environments; Remedyforce; Core Java / J2EE development environment, and relational databases

One (1) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience with process improvement strategies and methodologies

One (1) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in Oil and Gas industry as well as general compliance and enforcement related projects as a Business Analyst

One (1) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience working compatibly within multifaceted teams; resolve conflict; and deal with challenging situations

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
