OverviewWhat You’ll Be DoingThe Cadmus Group is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the continued growth of the Project Control team. The Financial Analyst will analyze and maintain project/program estimates at completion / estimates to completion (EACs / ETCs) for multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and risk level. Let’s solve the world’s most challenging problems together.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be detail-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills. They will be able to work independently, and problem solve financial-related concepts. The candidate should be flexible to accommodate changing priorities and requirements. They should anticipate significant interaction with leadership teams, project managers, and accounting and contracting staff.Responsibilities:

Assist project managers with EAC spend plan creation and maintenance

Review and analyze monthly project costs and revenue; monitor actual cost performance against plans/budgets; prepare variance analysis, reports, and presentations timely to project managers

Analyze and report on project profitability

Provide accurate data for inclusion in corporate revenue forecasts and staff plans

Support any ad hoc analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as required

Support monthly financial close processes, report distribution, and other related duties, as required

Participate in project set-up meetings, providing guidance, as necessary

Create briefings and conduct analysis to support practice and sector leadership teams by supporting project management reviews, financial management reviews, and other related duties as required

Conduct analysis to ensure forecasting module / database is well maintained; test, trouble shoot and clean up the database, as required

Support development and creation of custom Power BI applications and reporting

Conduct dashboard analysis and explain findings to relevant stakeholders

Support integration activities, as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience (including internships) in government contracting and commercial sector performing in a Project Control, Business Finance, Accounting, or related role

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience (including internships) using Deltek Costpoint Budgeting and Planning (or a similar forecasting system)

Minimum of 1-3 years of experience (including internships) using Cognos Enterprise Reporting / Cognos Analytics (or a similar reporting tool)

Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Office

Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels within the organization

Ability to manage one's own time to develop, prioritize, organize, and perform work

Ability to work independently and in group settings

Experience working with multiple contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP) is desired

Knowledge of Federal contracting project control requirements is desired
