Summary The position is located in the General Services Division of the Office of the Executive Director in the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA/EX/GSD), Department of State. CA/EX is responsible for providing a wide range of management support for the Bureau of Consular Affairs. CA/EX/GSD provides administrative support for the Bureau. Responsibilities Examines new or proposed travel policies, procedures, regulations, and legislation and assesses impact to the Bureau’s travel program. Develops, organizes and conducts training sessions for travel arrangers throughout CA’s directorates and offices on the automated travel program. Conducts comprehensive assessments of the Bureau Travel and Budget Financial Plan to determine the accuracy of pertinent allocations per Fiscal Year. Assumes responsibility for all administrative and financial tasks related to the travel card to include policy development, issuance, card utilization, billing, and termination. Have a combination of graduate level education and specialized experience (as described above), which is equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal Service.
