About the role: As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for owning high revenue and high impact cross-departmental projects across the organization. You will be responsible for acting as the project lead and driving both client facing and internal departmental projects from initiation to closing. You will bring your knowledge of managing strategic and challenging projects to the table to form a team vested into the project. You will responsible for understanding and maintaining the scope, timeline, resources, and budget. You will act as “Air Traffic Control”; ensuring all activities start and end on time, are owned by the appropriate resource, and lead the team in identifying and mitigating blockers. A successful Senior Project Manager at Softheon will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a team setting. A major focus of this role is documenting and tracking daily project activities within a project plan and Azure DevOps, as well as enforcing Softheon PMO and scrum best practices. Complex Project Oversight: Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects and programs, managing their complexities and ensuring successful delivery.
Enhanced Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Executive Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project status reports and strategic insights to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Influence and Negotiation: Influence and negotiate project requirements, scope changes, and resource allocations with senior stakeholders.
Advanced Risk Management and Mitigation
Proactive Risk Identification: Develop and implement proactive risk identification and mitigation frameworks for complex projects.
Crisis Management: Lead crisis management efforts, including issue resolution and recovery planning for critical project challenges.
Leadership and Strategic Contribution
Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor and coach junior project managers and team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
Strategic Alignment: Ensure that project objectives and deliverables are aligned with the company's long-term strategic initiatives.
Project Coordination and Execution
Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation across multiple projects to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain high standards across all project deliverables.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project management practices and methodologies.
Innovation Leadership: Foster a culture of innovation within the project management team, encouraging the exploration of new tools, techniques, and best practices.
Financial Oversight
Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and providing regular financial updates to stakeholders.
Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects and initiatives to ensure they deliver value to the organization.
Talent Management
Collaborate with the Talent team to actively engage in the hiring and recruitment processes. Leveraging industry networks and expertise to identify, attract , and interview top talent that aligns with the company's objectives and values.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members within your department and across diverse functions.
Play an integral role in shaping and reinforcing the overall company culture, promoting values that enhance teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
You have: Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related area
Experience
5-8 years of professional work experience
