Job DescriptionA client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Business Analyst. This individual will be joining the Cross Bore and Leak Survey Program under the Operations Support team. The Cross Bore Program is accountable for ensuring execution of the Construction Operations Cross Bore Prevention, Inspection, and Remediation program. This individual will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing project deliverables files for quality, accuracy and completeness while also making sure data meets compliance/regulatory requirements.Responsibilities: Quality/document control Video review of CCTV data collected by third party contractors to identify anomalies related to natural gas cross bore threats Ensure CCTV videos associated with cross bore inspections meet companys specifications and requirements Audit data quality of project related information such as inspection videos, pictures, excel, etc) Deliver project reporting to meet budget, schedule, and standards in multiple formats (dashboards, spreadsheets, presentation slides, etc.) Review and monitor data for quality and accuracy Analyzes costs, benefits, and evaluates alternatives for projects to ensure cost effectiveness and operational efficiency Recommend and assist with implementation of process improvements Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders (Contractors, Asset Protection, DIMP, GIS, Land Management, Community Affairs, and state/county/city agencies etc) Collaborate cross-functionally and with all levels of management to achieve shared business results Provide program metrics for reporting to business unit owners and upper managementSkills and RequirementsWith HS Diploma 5+ years of scheduling and/or coordination of work activities or operations support, compliance monitoring or project management With AS or BS 2+ years scheduling and/or coordination of work activities or operations support, compliance monitoring or project management Experience with compliance program administration General understanding of regulatory compliance and/or quality audit reviews MS Suite proficiency: Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook Ability to recognize how tasks rank in order of urgency to prioritize time and attend to critical details Overall good business acumen and ability to communicate effectively Ability to work independently and problem solve Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate with all levels in the organization Strong decision-making skills PMP cert Experience with ArcGIS Construction, project management, engineering, accounting or operations experience in utilities or gas distribution Knowledge and experience with cross bore impingement discovery, remediation, and program administration Advanced proficiency in Excel and SharePoint General understanding of pipeline systems and city infrastructure Familiar with Smartsheets or Power BI Previous experience working at or with Southern Company nullWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
