National Accounts Manager - Facilities Maintenance Vertical

Great opportunities.If you’d like the chance to make your mark with the world’s largest equipment rental provider, come build your future with United Rentals!As a National Accounts Manager within Facilities Maintenance Vertical, you will be responsible for managing and acting as a single point of contact for national accounts within accounts within this Vertical. This role will focus on a wide variety of key retail, logistical companies, manufacturing, and other National Accounts located throughout the US and Canada.In this key role, you will increase our company's market share, grow a national account customer base and revenue and facilitate national account customer business with our branch network.What you'll do:

Maintain and develop relationships with existing national accounts and their subsidiary companies within your territory within this vertical

Prepare and provide formal business reviews to national account company decision makers and high level sales executives

Monitor and prospect large projects involving national account customers; send leads to branch sales representatives

Prospect and qualify new national accounts from existing key or branch accounts, dormant or non-customer accounts, including competitor accounts

Utilize Sales Force.com and other CRM Tools to increase productivity

Support the overall efforts of and closely partner with Outside Sales Representatives, District Managers, other National Account Managers and Region Sales and Marketing Managers

Effectively develop a broad range of internal constituents with Strategic and Key Account Managers by holding routine progress calls to discuss the Go to Market Strategies for those child accounts within your book.

Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred 7 + years of sales experience, preferably in branch or sales management, with large account or equivalent external experience

Current valid driver's license with a safe driving record and the ability to travel 60-70% of the time within your book of business

Strong customer service orientation

Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, negotiation and research skills

Ability to work independently & highly motivated to succeed even when setbacks occur

Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency

Familiarity with FW Dodge or other sales data tools

Works with other internal sales personnel to propose specific solutions for a given account or partner. Manages revenue goals for the given account/client. Provides regular updates to senior sales/operations staff concerning account issues, financial status, etc. This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.
