Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Public Senior Accountant in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will primarily manage client relationships, oversee tax work, and provide general accounting services while adhering to established procedures. Responsibilities: Managing client relationships and ensuring regular communication Executing a variety of tax assignments under the supervision of the firm's CPAs Reviewing tax returns and preparing quarterly and yearly tax projections Overseeing the general ledger tax balances and maintaining current and deferred tax provision calculations Preparing tax footnotes for financial statements Staying updated with the latest developments in state federal and local tax laws to maintain compliance and deliver timely advice to clients and the firm Assisting clients with tax audits and tax planning as well as other related duties as required Spearheading the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for clients Responding to inquiries, offering advice, and making necessary adjustments to provide excellent customer service Assisting with general accounting tasks as needed.
