As the Salesforce Technical/Data Conversion/Integration Lead, you will be the driving force behind the design, development, and deployment of the overall solution, its data integrity and conversion from legacy system, and solutions that connect Salesforce with various external systems and applications. Your role is critical in ensuring data consistency, workflow automation, and a seamless user experience across our Salesforce ecosystem. This position requires deep expertise in Salesforce integrations, a strong understanding of industry best practices, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

As a Technical Lead, you are responsible to plan, influence, direct, lead, architect, develop, and test application software based on industry best practices as defined by the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) - confirming the technical feasibility and stability of the design and configuration of the application development environment, the software testing environment, the project facility network infrastructure, and other technologies necessary to support the solution delivery.

As a Data Conversion Lead, you are directly responsible for the successful migration of data from the legacy MCC solution to the new ECCM solution. The Data Conversion Lead manages the data mapping, configuration of conversion jobs, and the review and validation of data cleansing requirements and extraction queries provided by the Department's Legacy SMEs.

As an Interface Lead, you are directly responsible for the successful integration between the new ECCM solution and the state's partner systems (including bi-directional interfaces where required). The Interface Lead actively attends design sessions, and reviews system documentation to support the solution design with appropriate interface architecture documentation with partner systems. In addition, the Interface Lead will also collaborate with the Department's Technical SMEs to establish interface connectivity with associated boundary systems.

Qualifications Required:

5 years of experience in a Lead Developer role on one or more Salesforce Implementation

2 years of experience providing Salesforce Technical Architecture on one or more Salesforce Implementation

Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration and development; security, standard objects, reports/dashboards, Chatter, Knowledge, Communities, Chat, data management and sandbox environments

Demonstrated experience with advanced Salesforce.com development tools and techniques, e.g. Apex language, Force.com custom development, triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter API, UI API, outbound messaging, Lightning Components and Visualforce pages

Demonstrated experience using Salesforce's standard development tooling, including the Salesforce CLI, Data Loader, VS Code + Salesforce Extension Pack

Experience with developing and maintaining Salesforce integrations such as with API Management tools (e.g., MuleSoft), Salesforce Canvas, Connected Apps, outbound messaging, Salesforce Events, and Apex callouts

Experience with newer Salesforce features including but not limited to Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Aura, Vlocity,

Experience practicing Agile Development Methodologies

Ability to travel 20 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

Salesforce Certified (Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II or Advanced Developer preferred)

Understanding of architectural design patterns including SOA, Micro-Services, object-oriented design patterns, common integration patterns, etc.

Ability to review / share feedback on Salesforce coding best practices supporting application scalability

Client facing experience working with business and IT client stakeholders in architectural / technical design and gain acceptance from cross functional client and vendor teams

Prior experience building technical artifacts including Salesforce configuration design, technical design

Strong technology leadership skills with outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills

Self-starter with proven ability to successfully kick-start new initiatives and to drive complex issues through analysis and resolution

Understanding of architectural design patterns including SOA, Micro-Services, object-oriented design patterns, common integration patterns, etc.
