This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in manufacturing strategy, supply chain finance, cost productivity, global logistics, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, manufacturing strategy, supply chain finance, financial assessment, and a proven track record in driving efficiency and cost savings across the supply chain.Key Responsibilities:
Global Supply Chain Strategy:
Develop manufacturing strategies that align with corporate goals and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce lead times, and drive lean manufacturing.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
Collaborate with global transportation teams to optimize global logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Prepare and present financial reports related to supply chain strategies to senior management.
Supply Chain Finance:
Oversee supply chain financial planning and analysis, including budget management, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to optimize supply chain operations.
Prepare detailed financial assessments and reports on supply chain performance for senior management.
Conduct comprehensive financial assessments of supply chain operations, including make vs. buy analysis, cost absorption impacts, and investment opportunities.
Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Evaluate and report on the financial impact of supply chain changes and improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal departments (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, brand management, finance, HR, IT, D&T) to align global supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
Facilitate communication and coordination between supply chain teams and external stakeholders to address issues and opportunities.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on supply chain performance, financial outcomes, and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management with a strong focus on manufacturing strategy, supply chain finance, VAVE productivity, global logistics, and project management.
In-depth knowledge of global supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis within a supply chain context.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
Effective leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with international partners.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, financial modeling software, TMS, WMS).
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, MBA or Finance.
Project management certification (PMP, PgMP) or MBA is a plus.
Consumer products industry experience.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other process improvement techniques.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing automation technologies.
