The Office + Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the corporate office, all human resource functions, all bookkeeping and payroll and manages the office schedules and calendar. This position reports to the President and works closely with our leadership team and accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO;

Manage daily operations of corporate office; answering phones, email, filing, organizing, ordering supplies; work with operations manager on maintenance, cleaning, security; landlord and vendor relations, etc.

Manage all human resource functions; from onboarding to termination of employees, maintaining proper employee files; facilitation of employee benefits; maintain workers’ compensation, short-term disability, unemployment, labor law, etc

All bookkeeping; accounts receivable and billing; accounts payable; processing payroll, credit card tips, payroll taxes, direct deposit; auditing of daily sales and deposits; monthly landlord/lease contracts and percentage rent payments; Hawaii general excise tax payments; monthly, quarterly and/or annual audits; monthly bank reconciliations; credit card chargebacks; out-of-state filings and tax payments; maintaining proper business registrations, etc.

Hiring and management of any office support staff and/or interns and implementation of training plans, etc.

Main point-of-contact for the corporate office; manages the schedules and calendar.

Other projects and tasks as determined by the President

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum five (5) years office and accounting experience

Excellent communication, decision-making and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and with leadership team
