Our Bridges & Structures Bureau (BSB) is looking to hire a full-time Bridge Engineer Specialist to be part of a team developing construction plans and managing projects for the state and national transportation systems in Iowa. As aBridge Engineer Specialist(Transportation Engineer Specialist), you’ll play a vital role by reviewing and coordinating a variety of consultant-prepared bridge and culvert plans for construction, to ensure compliance with Iowa DOT and AASHTO specifications. You’ll have the distinct role of monitoring workflows as well as oversight and management of critical project documentation. Preferred Characteristics:

Minimum Qualification Requirements:Licensed as a professional engineer.
