Accounting Assistant

Description We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team located in Louisville, Colorado. The Accounting Assistant will be an integral part of our team, providing crucial support in client relations, financial paperwork processing, and data entry tasks. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity that will allow the selected individual to grow within the team and develop their skills in the financial industry.Responsibilities: Manage client relations through email and phone communication Gather and analyze client information using Microsoft Excel Coordinate meetings and track scheduling Prepare and submit client paperwork for account changes Assist with quarterly billing and tax preparation services Create and manage client invoices Regularly perform data entry tasks Utilize QuickBooks Pro for creating invoices and other financial documents Utilize CRM and Calendar Management tools for scheduling and client relations Assist in other accounting functions as required. Requirements Proficiency in accounting functions and understanding of basic accounting principles Experience in billing and invoice processing, including vendor invoices Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage client communications and build client relations effectively Experience in scheduling management, meeting coordination, and calendar management Proficiency in tax preparation and understanding of tax regulations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel and Word Experience with QuickBooks Pro or similar accounting software Experience with CRM software for managing client relationships Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not necessary Any relevant certifications in accounting or related field would be advantageous.
