Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.The value you’ll bring to the team:

Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures including, but not limited to, abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retro peritoneal, small parts and vascular. May perform cardiac procedures as required by entity. Practices all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety, reducing personal and patient exposure to “as low as reasonably achievable” (ALARA).

Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.

Prepares patient for exam. Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.

Assists the patient during exam and positions the patient.

QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

High School Diploma or GED

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association

ARDMS - registered required RDMS(OB/GYN) or (AB) or (BR) Or

ARRT registered R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within 1 year or hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT)Or

ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)
