As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping, including expertise in AIA billing, and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Louisville, Kentucky area.Key responsibilities

Manage the full cycle of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

Process and reconcile AIA (American Institute of Architects) billing accurately and in a timely manner.

Prepare and submit monthly progress billings to clients, ensuring compliance with contract terms and project specifications.

Collaborate with project managers and contractors to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries or concerns.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Ensure accurate and timely completion of weekly payroll.

Compile financial information for external accounting firm.

Accurate completion of payroll taxes, property taxes, sales and use taxes, vehicle taxes and licenses, and year end W2s.

Annual administration of 401K and health insurance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.

Strong proficiency in AIA billing and construction accounting practices.

Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
